I have now been charged $87.47 for two months in a row and have received nothing!! The Better Business Bureau will be hearing from me. I have put a stop payment on this company; as I have two phone numbers from this company and receive a recording that the calls cannot be made from my area.
Is someone going to do something about these thieves? Hopefully these complaints will keep people from responding to these bogus ads. This is a first for me. Anyone else scammed?? 1284ea9

1. Written by Gee on November 30, 2010 from las vegas, nevada, US I ordered the bright white trial product that was supposed to be a charge of $5.36 for postage and handling. You are supposed to have 14 days to try the product if you decide not to continue the product you have to cancel within that time. I called bright white to cancel within the 14 days, the communication was horrible between the rep and I and I couldn't understand what she was saying. She didn't speak English very well and I often had to ask her to repeat herself. She kept trying to sell me something else, I kept telling her I just wanted to cancel. From what I could understand she said I would get some kind of email. I forgot all about it until I received my statement showing a charge of 87.13 plus a foreign transaction fee of $2.61. Then I also received a charge from a company called ProfitVault for $9.76 plus a foreign transaction fee of $.49 for some discount program that came along with the Bright white that I didn't subscribe to. I called Bright White again on November 24, 2010 to cancel again. I was told that I would receive a email modification to cancel the subscription to the product. I still had not received the product and was being charged. I still had not received the email to cancel by November 26, 2010 so I called customer service again. This time I finally received the email on November 28, 2010. I filled out the form and sent it in. However, I still have not received a refund. On my November December statement I again received another charge of about $75.00. I called to dispute this with my credit card company. I also called Bright White again and this time I was told that they didn't get a cancellation request until November 7, 2010 which was not true. She said she wouldn't give me a refund cause I had received the product and in the shipment I was given a letter saying I had to cancel to discontinue shipments. Well I never received the product so I wouldn't have received the letter about the cancellation. When I told her this which by the way it was very difficult to understand her because her English is not that good, she said she would not give me a refund. She did however offer to give me a $20 credit. I told her I am not interested in a $20 credit. I would like a refund cause (one) I canceled and (two) I didn't receive the product. She said she would send me their policy then she stated that I was supposed to cancel in 10 days, but no refund. So now it went from 14 days to 10 days, what is that all about? I spoke to my credit card company to file a dispute. This company is obviously a scam. I have seen several complaints on the Internet about this company. Something needs to be done about this.
2. Written by Bright White (Teeth Whitener) on November 18, 2010 from melbourne, victoria, AU Well I got caught in this too! I signed up for a free trial and agreed to pay the postage only, today I received my credit card statement and have been charged not only for the postage but also cost of USD87.13. At least I received the item but I hope the charging won't continue. Contacted my bank and they've advised me to cancel my card number. What a nuisance!

4. Written by Denis on November 9, 2010 from castlegar, british columbia, CA This has been going on forever. They just keep changing their name. The best thing you can do is send an e-mail to them telling them to cancel your account. This way you can prove to the credit card company that you have tried to cancel your account. You will not get back your initial money, but at least the credit card company can stop them for accessing your account. The second thing you can do is to cancel your credit card. As they are following the laws with their fine print terms. There isn't anything that can stop them. It's too bad 60 minutes wouldn't do a story about them. I'm surprised by the amount of complaints that someone hasn't done any physical harm to them.

They're all the same company out of India and I've been able to get any of my money returned. I'm hoping adding these names to this list will help people when they try to search for them after noticing them on your bank activity CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNT (even if they say they'll return the money in 2-3 days - I have found that they will not). | 6. Written by Suzie on November 4, 2010 from iola, wisconsin, US I've been fighting with them for months, determined not to give up. They charged me the initial 127 plus multiple random small amounts. They run the small amounts through to make sure your account is still open and then they'll take the 'monthly fee' or whatever they're charging you. I got them to return 19.97 into my account once, which I think was just a ploy to keep my account open. I'm closing it. It's the only way to get them to stop. I've called every 3 days now for a month, and each time they tell me I'll be refunded in 2-3 business days! I also complained with the BBB, but didn't get a resolution. I'm hoping I'll have better luck with my bank going to dispute the fradulant charges. |
7. Written by Lanie on October 15, 2010 from cicero, illinois, US I was charged $3.87 and $1.49 and then $87.47 because I did not cancel the order within 10 days. Nowhere did I see that caveat on the website which is now shut down. I called my credit card company to complain and they dialed into the Scammer which was in India! She couldn't understand anything I was saying so I could not get to first base. I will complain to the BBB in additiion. I will not pay the additional $87.47 either. What a scam!
